So my Brother Mark and I have always been close almost all our lives. Although now we both have our own lives; He has a family now. It seems like i barely know him anymore.. well what he's like now. When i see him now it feels like things changed and which they have. Its like all conversations have reduced to small talk or whatever. It bothers me... cause i am the type of person that likes to have personal conversations. I like to know how someone has been doing. Besides the typical "oh I'm fine answer". I'd rather talk about the important stuff. Every time we say goodbye ..you know after a visit.. i always tear up cause i barely see him now, I miss spending time with him, he's my Big Brother.
I love him very much.
I have seen my Brother once this year.. My Sister Kathleen and I stopped by my Brother's house a few weeks ago. It was nice, though it was different.
When i was younger i always wondered why my Father and his siblings weren't as close as mine. I always asked my dad that.. and never really got it until now. I'm seeing that when you get older things change. though its weird to me. I know that Kathleen and I will always be really close though. She's my Best Friend and i don't see much changing between us. That makes me feel good.
I want to start visiting my brother more(other family as well)... cause who knows what might happen. this world is crazy and bad things happen everyday. Family is the most Important thing in my life(my best friends are my family too). You never know when your last day is near.. so until then i want to spend my time well.

It sucks growing apart from family that you used to be close with. I was never really close with my immediate family, but I had a few cousins that I was very close with that I hardly ever see anymore. Hopefully, you and Mark can reconnect as his kids get older. I'm sure it's really hard on him trying to take care of them and not being able to spend as much time with you anymore.
Btb, I might be coming home for the weekend so we definitely need to hang out and catch up if I do!
